Freeze Pleeze takes you back to the 1950s era of good, old-fashioned ice cream. Freeze Pleeze uses 100 percent natural ingredients, and they make all their ice cream fresh to serve. The staff can accommodate any food allergy ranging from food/nut as well as a dairy allergy. If you are lactose intolerant, you don’t have to be left out. Freeze Pleeze can specially make any ice cream with almond milk, coconut milk or rice milk. The thrill of it all is watching your hand-picked ingredients freeze right before your eyes under a spray of liquid nitrogen. Freeze Pleeze also offers many exotic flavors, including rose pistachio and salted chocolate pretzel.
Owners Koril and Angela Seperghan and Ron Howell opened Freeze Pleeze in early July. The owners say they are the only ice cream parlor in Clarksville that uses all natural ingredients, provides fresh fruit that is bought daily and freezes it in front of you. Aside from making good ice cream, Freeze Pleeze is built upon providing a family friendly environment.
Freeze Pleeze is at 700 N. Riverside Drive, Suite 13, Clarksville. Visit their Facebook page, “Freeze Pleeze,” for updates on ice cream flavors and fall hours.
Mona Lisa’s Barber Shop
I had heard the buzz from fellow friends about how great the staff was at Mona Lisa’s Barber Shop, so I had to go try them out for myself.
When I walked in with my 4-year-old son, we were greeted with smiles, and Lisa, the owner, couldn’t have been any nicer. She is fun, bubbly and well-loved among her staff and clients.
Lisa has been cutting hair since the age of nine but has been professionally cutting hair since 2005 when she graduated from Queen City College in Clarksville.
Mona Lisa’s Barber Shop specializes in all types of haircuts and have experience with an array of hair types. They offer services to men, women and children. Along with haircuts, Mona Lisa’s also does semi-permanent hair color.
Mona Lisa’s is on Tiny Town Road next to Pizza Hut. To set up an appointment, call 931-551-9101.
